Choice of Plans and Deductible Levels

When you choose a health insurance plan from LTC Capital, you have the flexibility to choose coverage that’s right for your needs and your budget.

You can choose traditional health coverage with familiar features like office visit co-payments or 100% after deductible coverage. Or you can choose a plan with a HSA – a qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that allows you to contribute to a Health Savings Account. In most states, we also offer Short Term Medical plans designed to provide affordable coverage while you wait for more permanent coverage to begin.

Copay Plans

If you want coverage that has features similar to those of an employer-sponsored plan, consider our plans that include office visit co-payments. These health plans have copays for illness and injury doctor’s office visits. Prescription drug coverage is included in all plans with office visit co-payments.

100% After Deductible Plans

If you want a plan that pays 100% for most covered in-network expenses after your deductible is met, consider plans with this feature. These plans give you the widest choice of deductible options; some may even be compatible with a Health Savings Account.

Health Savings Account Plans

If you want coverage for many of the same services as the plans above – plus the ability to put money in a Health Savings Account (HSA) – consider an HSA-qualified High Deductible Health Plan.

Short Term Plans

If you’re without health insurance temporarily – for instance, if you’re waiting for group coverage or Medicare coverage to begin – consider a Short Term Medical plan. If you’re eligible, you can receive coverage as quickly as the day after applying.

We will work with you to evaluate the major insurance carriers in your area on plan designs and cost. Don’t look for just the lowest premiums. We’ll help you navigate companies, plans and all options, including  the breadth of the network to make sure all the employees have access to in-network physicians, carrier claims paying history, and whether carriers have good relationships with physicians.
